A Look At 2009 Draft Options

So while some Raptors faithful are paying attention to this break from mediocrity, those who are realistic are looking forward to the Raptors options entering this years draft. Things look bleak as there are too many holes to fill in one offseason. The Raptors will therefore try and select the most talented player left on the board. They will also attempt to sign a shooting guard with breakdown skills and solid defense through free agency. Anthony Parker will not return as a starter for next years team, nor is Joey Graham the solution to any of our problems. The only guarantees to return are Bosh, Bargnani, Calderon and Banks, who is under a guaranteed contract, barring a blockbuster trade. There will be radical changes made, with Marion being an option seeing how well he and the team have played recently.
